How we handle information about kids
What this app stores
A first name. Optionally a last name, a grade, a gender, and a short note written by a leader. That’s the whole record.
What it deliberately does not store
No addresses, phone numbers, email addresses, birthdays, photos, or parent information. This is a tool for knowing kids by name and praying for them — not a database about them.
Who can see it
A leader sees only the ministries they have been added to. An Area Director sees their own area. Nobody sees another area. Knowing a web address grants nothing on its own — every request is checked against your account in the database itself.
Records of who did what
Each record keeps who added it, who last changed it, and when. Exports are logged too. Notes are left out of exports unless the Area Director asks for them.
Removing a kid
Archiving takes a kid out of every active total and list while keeping the history intact. An Area Director can delete a record outright on request.
A word to leaders
Write notes you would be comfortable with the kid, their parents, and your Area Director reading. Nothing about health, family situations, or anything shared with you in confidence belongs here.
